Club Apiary – A History
Construction of the apiary began in January 2010 with the construction of a 200 metre long road and the creation of a badger proof compound to contain the bee hives.
Honey Bee Swarms – Everything You Need to Know
Swarming is the natural means of reproduction of honey bee colonies. A new honey bee colony is formed when the queen bee leaves the colony with a large group of worker bees, a process called swarming.
Am I an Asian Hornet or Not?
The Asian hornet is smaller than our native hornet and poses no greater risk to human health than a bee. However, they do pose a huge risk to honey bees. Members of the public can also report sightings.
